Hello. This is Mystic Babylon Open Mike Poetry Podcast Broadcasting from near the Haight. I had to delete my last show because contrary to what I understood, Diane Di Prima didn’t want her audio posted. I was happy to remove it, and I did so. I guess Donna is not the only primadonna. I do understand her fears of copyright infringement, but I think that it would have been a better decision to let it stay on my site. I am in the future going to be much more careful about getting permission from artists.
Today we are going to have a larger portion of poems by the Hydropods. The Hydropods are again, John Dooley poet, and Gary Glover Jazz improv., from Oregan. I am in the process of attempting to start a TV show on Cable Access TV 29 here in San Francisco and am hoping that besides covering the open mikes I will be able to get videos of the more well known artists that many of you might have heard of. I am still going to record people from the open mikes though. It isn’t a sealed deal but I’ve got my fingers crossed. I hope you enjoy this podcast.
