Hello again! This is John Rhodes and this is Mystic Babylon Open Mike Poetry Podcast Broadcasting from near the Haight in San Francisco. Today besides me, the Poet Laureate of California, Al Young, is going to read. This is another recording courtesy of Jim Nesbit who only asks that I mention that you respect the copyright of the authors in the recordings. Al Young has a web site at: http://www.alyoung.org . He was elected Poet Laureate of California in 2005 and I think that means that shortly his honor shall be transferred to another poet. This recording was done at a small open mike here in San Francisco with all the other regulars of the open mikes present, so it was very informal.
