Hello! This is Mystic Babylon Open Mike Poetry Podcast broadcasting from near the Haight in San Francisco. Welcome!
Today we have one poet besides me, John Rhodes. That person is a lady named Jan Steckel. I recorded her at the Gallery Café by the Cable Car Museum. That open mike is the first Mondays of the month. Jan Steckel, besides writing poetry writes short stories, has been nominated for a Pushcart Price.She has a poetry chapbook that was recently published called, “Underwater Hospital”, by Zeitgeist Press. Also don't forget to buy my book: Spirits of Bondage and Inherent Transcendence. It is available at almost any online bookstore. My novel, "LIttle Bird Told Me" has a about 30 pages of minor rewrite left, which equates to not more than a month. I hope you find it interesting when it comes out and are loyal enough to buy a copy. I am very proud of it.
